Flexible Display SmartPhone for Samsung Galaxy S, 가변형 디스플레이 스마트폰, Cotrolled with a Thumb

This is the concept demo of flexible screen smarphone.
Flexible display of the Smartphone can be viewed in flat screen or curved angled view.
There are support bars in between the bottom of the display and the body of Smartphone to prevent bouncing when touching the opened flat screen.


For Apple iPhone, one hand operation is clearly at the heart of their design philosophy and this is one of the main reasons why a lot of people consider buying an iPhone.   By just using a thumb, it is possible to navigate, type message and send email. But for those who with small hands, as thumb being a shortest among fingers, will experience some difficulty to reach top right or left corner of the screen.


   Furthermore, the flex curved Smartphone released in the market have some disadvantage.  They are not flexible but mostly rigid.  When a user hold the flex curved phone in one hand and press the outer edge screen with a thumb, the whole phone will tilt toward the pressure point which feels insecure in grip.  

 
   Now, this innovative idea and design will help the users to use their Smartphone more effectively.  When the top component of the flexible screen is released, the screen will be slightly rolled or curved toward the lower part of the phone that the user can easily reach top portion of the screen area with one's thumb since curved screen shorten the distance between top screen and thumb.  After using flexible curved screen, with the one touch, the screen will return to its' original flat position.  

   Without sacrificing the shape of the main body of Smartphone, the flat body is easier to carry around, provide secure grip in one's hand and secure to place on flat surface.  Either in the palm of one's hand or on any flat surface, this method will improve the ease of using flexible Smartphone.  And furthermore, this flexible screen method will be beneficial for even bigger screen size Smartphones.

Individual coffee mix pack with separate coffee, sugar and cream pouches

There are numerous wide range of instant coffee mix packs are sold in the market to provide portable, fast and easy way to make a cup of coffee to the customers.  But since each coffee pack is all combined with mixture of coffee, sugar and cream in one pouch, it is not easy to separate it into each ingredient as they wish to choose.  Not only that, it will be more difficulty to control the amount of each ingredient they choose to pour it into a cup.  And for health watchers who would like to select or limit the amount of certain ingredients for coffee making would either hesitate to use it or completely avoid using it.      
And even more, when these mixed ingredients are kept in warmer condition for certain period of time, those mixtures can sometimes melt and dissolve into clump that will steal its' freshness and taste.       

          The fresheness of instant coffee mix pack and the selction according to desired ingredients and amount can can be met by designing divided sealed block pouches for each different ingredients on a single pack.  Each ingredient will be kept and sealed in each different pouches for freshness and for easy controlling amount as they pout it in.  

         Furthermore, each ingredient amount can even be closely controlled as one pour it into a cup.  Since each ingredient is kept in separate pouch, it will prevent clumping and will keep its’ freshness longer and will provide better taste.  Each pouch has a small cutting line for easy cutting and pouring desired amounts.   On the side of the coffee mix pack, there is another narrow pouch prepared for stir stick.  (And just for a reminder, it is not safe to use plastic coffee pouch to stir in hot cofee mix which releases unwanted chemicals.) 
Thus, by providing consumers to choose healthier way to drink and by giving them more options to choose among ingredients, I believe it will boost their confidence in purchasing related products.

This is the concept demo of adjustable flexible-display of TV monitor.
The angle of the flexible display of TV can be controlled from a flat position to desired angle view with remote control. Both right and left side of the display angle can be adjusted according to viewer's desired position. The mechanism of control is operated by helical gears connected to motors. Single or both side of angle of the viewing area can be controlled freely. When it is in auto detection mode, the display will automatically follow and face in the direction of the viewer. When the power of the TV is turned off, the display will retreat to original flat screen position.
